Three Cheers For Five Years

Artist: Mayday Parade
Genre: Indie/Pop
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/maydayparade

Three Cheers For Five Years (Acoustic) is every fourteen year old girl's theme song. As unmanly as it may be to like this band, Mayday Parade is radical, and this song is no exception. It comes from their debut EP that has definitely not received the amount of attention that it should. Be sure to pick it up as well as their debut album. Grapevine Fires

Artist: Death Cab For Cutie
Genre: Indie/Rock
Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/deathcabforcutie

Grapevine Fires is watching a wild fire spread with the knowing feeling that you can do nothing to stop them. Ever since the widespread breakout of wildfires across the southern portion of California, this song came to mind. It gives such lines as, "the news reports on the radio said it was getting worse" and, "the firemen worked in double shifts, with prayers of rain on their lips." This song is not only undoubtedly good, but seems to wrap up the California Wildfires in a nutshell. Make Grapevine Fires part of your Fashionable Playlist.

Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/paddockpark

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is that classic formula with a new band. This song is for those that enjoy their mosh, but also like a little pop on the side (partly jocked from ADTR's CD shrink wrap). Speaking of ADTR, these guys come straight from their home town of Ocala, Florida. In fact, they're buds, which tells you something. On the real, this song is ill. Make Kiss Kiss Bang Bang part of your Fashionable Playlist.
